Blood – It’s in you to give

The Canadian Blood Services new 'Bloodmobile' is here at Roundup from 8:30am – 2:40 pm.  Equipped with four beds (and of course cookies and juice!), the Bloodmobile is stopping by to accept blood donations from delegates of Roundup.

There is always a need for blood – particularly in BC where only 2.8% of British Columbians donate.  Each donation can save up to three lives as the blood is separated into different parts.  Each donation is vital as every three seconds someone needs a blood transfusion.

To sign up, stop by the Canadian Blood Services desk in the foyer.  All donors must be in good health and if it's your first time be between the ages of 17 – 61.  The appointment to donate will take about one hour but includes time for cookies.  The Bloodmobile will be parked at Cardero and Bayshore – not far from the Core Shack.

I have signed up and hope to see the donor list full!
