2010 Board Announced at AME BC AGM

The Association for Mineral Exploration BC's Annual General Meeting was held at 4 p.m. on January 18.

Congratulations to those elected as Directors: Brian Abraham, Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP (re-elected); Don Bragg, Prospector (re-elected); Mona Forster, Entree Gold (re-elected); Dave Gale, Strongbow Exploration (new); David Moore, Serengeti Resources Inc. (new); and Robert Stevens, BCIT (re-elected).

Lena Brommeland, Hunter Dickinson, is the new Chair of AME BC.

Returning directors continuing their term are Nicole Adshead-Bell, Haywood Securities; Robert Boyd, Cooper Jack Investments; Lena Brommeland; Mike Cathro, Virginia Energy Resources Inc.; Andrew Davies, Teck; Greg Dawson, Copper Ridge Explorations; Carol Ellis, PI Financial; Michael McPhie, HB Global; Rick Van Nieuwenhuyse, NovaGold Resources; Caroline Rossignol, Barrick Gold; Tom Schroeter, Fjordland Exploration; and Jason Weber, Kiska Metals.

Appointed for a one-year term are Richard LeBourdais, Honourary Chief, Whispering Pines/Clinton Indian Band (Kamloops); David McLelland, Prospector (Vancouver Island); John Murray, Consulting Geologist (Southeastern B.C.); Janine North, Northern Development Initiative Trust (Northern BC); and Harvey Tremblay, Hy-Tech Drilling (Northwestern B.C); and Tom Isaac (Aboriginal Law Specialist).
