The Results Are In! AME BC’s 99th Annual General Meeting

AME BC held its 99^th Annual General Meeting on January 24 at Mineral Exploration Roundup.

Mona Forster, Executive Vice President, Entrée Gold Inc. was appointed Chair of the Association. Robert T. Boyd (Endurance Gold Corporation); Mike Burke (Government of Yukon); Fionnuala Devine, Geologist; Kendra Johnston (Silver Quest Resources); Diane Nicolson (Amarc Resources Ltd.); and Darren O’Brien (BCGold Corp) were elected to three-year terms.

Sam Adkins (McCarthy-Tetrault) and Kristy Emery (Catana Counsulting) are newly appointed directors serving for one-year terms.

Continuing elected directors are Brian Abraham (Fraser Milner Casgrain); Don Bragg, Prospector; Mike Cathro (Virginia Energy Resources Inc.); Andrew Davies (Teck); J. Greg Dawson (Copper Ridge Explorations Inc.); David Gale (Strongbow Exploration); Michael R. J. McPhie (Curis Resources); David Moore (Serengeti Resources); Tom Schroeter (Fjordland Exploration Inc.); Robert Stevens (BCIT); and Jason Weber (Kiska Metals). Directors re-appointed for 2011 are Richard LeBourdais, Honourary Chief, Whispering Pines/Clinton Indian Band (Kamloops); David McLelland, Prospector (Vancouver Island); John Murray, Consulting Geologist (Southeastern BC); and Harvey Tremblay, Hy-Tech Drilling (Northwestern BC).

Gavin C. Dirom, President & CEO of AME BC, thanked Lena Brommeland for her year of service as chair and three years as director. Lena was presented with a Ross Munro landscape painting. Gavin also thanked outgoing directors Nicole Adshead-Bell, Carol Ellis, Tom Isaac, Janine North, Caroline Rossignol, and Rick Van Nieuwenhuyse for their service to AME BC.
